FILLED - SENIOR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

I am currently looking to fill a key Marketing Communications role for an established MEDICAL DEVICE company located in the south San Francisco Bay Area (Silicon Valley.) This is an opportunity to work in a VERY dynamic organization and business environment that is experiencing great changes and therefore brings great opportunities.

While a general background in Marcom and specific
BRANDING is key, we also seek a person who has current and extensive expertise in Class II or (ideally) Class III medical devices. Candidates with current experience in cardiac, cardiovascular, and/or cardiothoratic markets will be immediately contacted (within 24 hours.)

Manager II, Mktg Comm Position Profile Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company’s sales objectives. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, tradeshow activity, and direct marketing. Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls all advertising and public relations projects, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services. Interfaces with vendors to produce promotional material

  • Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent.

Position Profile Oversees the marketing function in a division/group or a part of the marketing function at the corporate level (e.g., a particular product line or channel). Includes assessment of potential markets, coordination of technical product development, development of pricing strategies, and definition of promotional activities. Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
